Evri and the GMB have come to a pay deal agreement which they’re citing as a “landmark 2 year pay deal”.
Seems quite a few couriers don’t agree with some of the terms being offered which include a maximum permissible hourly rate based on Evri’s own calculation of a couriers EHR (Estimated Hourly Rate) and issues with the mileage expenses used to calculate this EHR including incorrect mileage being logged and a rate of 28.7p per mile which couriers are saying doesn’t cover the true cost of running their vehicles.
A teams meeting was hosted by the London GMB reps on Sunday 20th September 2026 to outline the proposal and it seems many questions were raised by couriers which couldn’t be answered despite the members ballot to reject or accept the deal going live in only a few days time on 28th Sept 2026.
