An update on SE+ holiday

Dear Courier,

Further to our recent agreement with the GMB Union, we can confirm the following changes to our SE+ holiday policy.

Holiday Approval
With immediate effect, holiday will no longer require approval by your CDM. You must still book holiday using the holiday booking system on the CCA, giving at least 4 weeks’ notice if you wish Evri to provide cover.

When you book a holiday on the system, in most cases it will go to a “Pending” status. Evri will update all holiday bookings with a “Pending” status to “Accepted” as quickly as possible, but this may take up to 7 calendar days. For bookings made up to 1st February 2024, we have already updated all “Pending” bookings in the system to “Accepted” status.
Occasionally, when you book a holiday on the system, your booking will go to a “Rejected” status. This means that there are already too many rounds in your Delivery unit on holiday and requiring cover on one of the dates you have selected and therefore you need to select some alternative dates, or provide a substitute.

Once your holiday is accepted, if your plans change, you can cancel this booking via the CCA. Remember to check with your CDM that you are still loaded to deliver that day as they may already have found a cover courier.

Carry over
As we approach the end of the holiday year (Friday 1st March 2024), we can confirm the following carryover rules.
All SE+ couriers who switched to SE+ on 25th November 2023 will be permitted to carryover up to 9 holiday days. All 9 days must be taken by the end of P3 (Friday 31st May 2024) or they will be expired.
All SE+ couriers who joined SE+ prior to 25th November 2023 will be permitted to carryover up to 7 holiday days. All 7 days must be taken by the end of P3 (Friday 31st May 2024) or they will be expired.
